Fergusson Home is a small facility in a quiet residential setting. We have 39 resthome beds, 2 suites and a small retirement village.
Qualifications & experience
- 1+ years of previous aged care preferred or NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing.
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good people skills and empathy for our residents and families.
Tasks & responsibilities
- We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team.
- As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in a warm and welcoming environment.
- You will assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Supporting residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided and residents' progress.
