 Hospital Operations Administrator 


 


TŪRANGA   THE ROLE 


Part-Time | Approximately 30 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday 



The Hospital Operations Administrator provides essential administrative support across a range of operational and governance activities. A key responsibility of this role is the credentialling of new Medical Specialists, as well as the ongoing monitoring and maintenance of the hospital’s register of currently credentialled practitioners. Accuracy, discretion, and a commitment to robust systems management are vital. 



This role reports directly to the Hospital Manager and is integral to ensuring the smooth functioning of our hospital’s administration processes. 


The position also supports a number of governance groups by preparing agendascoordinating meeting papers, and recording accurate and timely minutes. This requires a confident communicator with strong judgement and the ability to engage professionally with senior stakeholders, including clinicians and hospital leaders.

You easily foster trust and build strong relationships across an organisation knowing how important it is when working towards achieving operational outcomes. 


The following describes your work ethics and skills: 



  • Proven experience in an administrative or operational role, ideally within a regulated industry 



  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel. 



  • Experience using BoardProTrello, or similar governance/ workflow tools (or the ability to learn these quickly). 



  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational capability. 



  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. 



  • Ensure high-quality management of operational documentation, records, and workflows.
