An exciting opportunity exists for our current KingsWay Teaching Staff: Kaiārahi Ako for Junior Campus

This is a fixed term position for Term 4 while we recruit for 2026 leadership positions. The role is responsible for: 

• Proactively working with school staff to develop culturally responsive Christian pedagogy to honour Māori success as Māori (Academic)   

• Contributing to the development of authentic bi-cultural relationships within the school environment and with the wider community (Leadership)   

• Coordinating and providing a programme of professional learning in tikanga Māori and te ao Māori (Professional Learning)   

• Creating, enacting, and maintaining opportunities and activities that authentically demonstrate te ao Māori at school (Student/Community Engagement)   

The role carries a cultural leadership allowance of $5,000 p.a. pro-rated, with 80 minutes release time.
