About the Role
This is a fixed term part time (20 hours a week) position, which supports whānau engaged in the Family Court and Oranga Tamariki legal processes.
The purpose of this role is to support whānau with relevant needs pertaining to the Family Court and Oranga Tamariki legal processes. This position sits in the wider context of closing the gap in inequity within the justice and care and protection services. Engagement with the Family Court changes whānau dynamics, a process which can be disruptive for whānau and tamariki. We invite applications from suitably qualified, experienced and motivated people who have a passion for seeing whānau thrive. Ideally you will have a lived experience of te ao Māori, and experience in working with whānau in a community setting.
Salary is dependent on qualifications and years of experience.
