Management Accountant - Start Immediately - Part-Time

We are seeking a driven individual to join our team at Powershield Ltd as a Management Accountant on a 12-month fixed term for 15 -20 hours per week. This role is designed to support the CFO during a period of system and process improvement. Due to the growth of the company, this could turn into a permanent position.
 

We can work around your lifestyle and schedule - offering flexible hours and hybrid working arrangements. It is preferable that the candidate be based in the office for the first 1-2 months for training purposes, however then remote work for up to 2 days per week is available. Key responsibilities:

• Management Accounting: Conducting various management accounting tasks to support decision-making processes.
• Assist CFO in presenting monthly results
• Ensure accuracy and integrity in monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Budget Modelling and Forecasting: Developing and maintaining budget models and forecasts to aid financial planning and control.
• Business Analysis: Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving business performance.

Key skills & attributes:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• A high level of accuracy
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
• Strong Excel skills are required
• Previous industry experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with MYOB Advance and Power BI is advantageous.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is collaborative and team-focused, with a willingness to take initiative, be inquisitive, able to read numbers and recognise when things do not look correct. To hit the ground running, it would be great if you had MYOBA and PowerBI experience, but this not a pre-requisite.
