Medical Receptionist - Energetic Workplace - Part-Time

Rata Health is seeking a part time Medical Receptionist to join our busy reception team.     

The ideal candidate will have a professional and approachable manner; be efficient and have exceptional customer service skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Opening and closing of clinic
• Assistance of patients and visitors
• Enrolling new patients and transfers
• Booking in GP appointments
• Answering phone calls
• Maintenance of patient physical and electronic files
• Maintenance of patient correspondence
• Providing administration support

To succeed in this role you will need:

• A friendly empathetic personality
• A calm polite professional manner
• To be a self-motivated team player, with a “can do” attitude
• Previous experience in GP clinic reception
• Familiarity with Medtech Evolution
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office
• Accurate data-entry skills and able to multi-task

The days are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday working 23 hours per week, plus the ability to cover annual leave and sick leave for other staff on occasion would be ideal.
