Medical Receptionist:  Part Time

The role is primarily Medical Reception and Administration with some broader responsibilities for managing clinics.

The hours are part time 18-24hours /week

Key Responsibilities:

• Scheduling and administration for clinics and consultation appointments
• Processing and filing documentation pertaining to patients
• Managing inward and outward communication in relation to the Practice, facilitating smooth and reliable communication between the Practice, patients and other Health Professionals
• Invoicing accounts payable using an accounting system

Qualifications and Experience  

Our ideal candidate is someone who may have a background in health, preferably has experience in Medical Reception and arranging clinics and associated responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who displays maturity and initiative, must be able to work independently and manage time efficiently

The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, show kindness and enthusiasm 

Computer skills are essential 

Clinic times may vary from time to time so flexibility with hours is an advantage

First Aid Certification is also an advantage 

About the Business 

We are a small private Medical Practice with one part time Specialist Cardiologist offering Consultations and ongoing care.

The Practice serves the wider Hawkes Bay region with referrals from GPs, Specialists and other Health Providers.
