Enovate is a seven-year-old consultancy with approximately 25 staff that provides structural engineering services to the construction industry. The two founding directors, Mike and Pat are ambitious and looking for like-minded people to join an exciting business that strives to be at the cutting edge of structural design.

About the role

We are seeking an Office Administrator to join our team.

This is a part time role – 20 hours per week. This is a fixed term contract covering maternity leave for one year.

You will be working alongside the Office and Human Resources Administrator and both directors. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage incoming calls and emails, redirecting them as necessary.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings and conferences.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
  • Assist with basic HR tasks, such as scheduling mentoring sessions and onboarding paperwork.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management.
  • Organise and facilitate team events and activities such as morning teas, Kahoot sessions, and social events.
  • Ensure compliance by tracking consultant declarations, managing staff memberships, and updating necessary documentation.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of office equipment.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset with a willingness to take on new challenges.
