Would you like to be part of a network of ANZ units undertaking clinical trials exploring tomorrow's medicines today. If so, you could join a well-respected and progressive clinical trials company, working regular hours within a small local team, but as part of a bigger organisation. We are seeking a second part-time office administrator to support our Tauranga team of research nurses and doctors.
P3 Research Ltd is a leading and highly respected clinical trials company undertaking clinical trials for national and international pharmaceutical companies. It owns and operates a network of seven sites throughout New Zealand, located in Wellington, Tauranga, Hawke's Bay, Kapiti Coast, Palmerston North, Lower Hutt, and Dunedin and is the NZ arm of a Trans-Tasman clinical trial company, Momentum Clinical Research, which also has 6 sites in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Our Tauranga site has been operating for 19 years and has conducted clinical trials in a range of therapeutic areas, including vaccines, respiratory diseases, diabetes, dermatology, Women's health and more. We currently employ 5 Study coordinators/research nurses and 3 part-time doctors. They are supported by 2 admin support staff, one of whom is retiring after 11 years with us. The Unit operates out of a recently refurbished outpatient facility located in Promed House, Tenth Ave, Tauranga.
The two administrators are responsible for front office activity, electronic and paper filing, data entry, and fielding enquiries from potential volunteers for our clinical trials. They are also involved is some basic laboratory support functions centrifuging and storing blood samples, and preparing samples for sending overseas to various laboratories for testing.
The successful candidate should have prior experience with office administration and data entry. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products is a requirement. The hours of work are normal weekday hours commencing at 8.00am, for between 24 and 32 hours, per week, to suit. The candidate should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
The new appointee will report to the Unit Manager, Joanne Swindail.
