Office Administrator Role-The New Zealand Luggage Co

Description

We would like to have a motivated office administrator join our exciting growing business. The New Zealand Luggage Company is recognized as a leader in its field and our recent focus on going totally online sales based means we require the following skills from our successful applicant. 

Duties will include:

  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Daily processing of Shopify orders
  • Reconciling Shopify and AFTERPAY payments
  • Preferably have knowledge of our specific system MYOB/Reckon. Although I think if you have knowledge of other systems like Microsoft Office and Zero learning MYOB/Reckon will be easy.
  • Generating invoices-each day your working
  • Prepare and file GST returns with IRD.
  • Updating and managing stock records
  • Bank reconciliation and managing cash flow.
  • Updating website stock and products
  • Picking and packing orders ready for courier pickups if I am away or not available.

 

Other Duties will include:

  • Accounts receivable and payable, domestic, and international payments
  • Customer service-the consumer may call us and ask questions about product and delivery.
  • General office administration

Office hours are Monday-Thursday (4-hours per day) initially and we can talk about how these can be structured to suit the successful applicant and work in with myself as sole director operator. There will after training and settling in be the opportunity to do some work from your home, laptop set up and provided to achieve this, this exciting role allows a fair measure of flexibility.

This role may well suit a semi-retired person that wants to work in a growing positive industry, but it is imperative that this person be mobile and reasonable fit, because on the odd occasion help in the warehouse is required, if I am away on business or for annual holidays. Being flexible and working within our small team is also vital.
