Are you an experienced receptionist ready to take the next step, or an office manager seeking a part‑time opportunity? We’re looking for a capable and welcoming professional to support both front‑of‑house and office operations.
The Role
The hours for this role are from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. We're looking for someone who brings a bright and positive attitude, with excellent phone manners and top-notch service skills to ensure our clients always feel professionally cared for. Being a quick learner, skilled at prioritising, and maintaining composure under pressure are important for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Reception Duties: Provide comprehensive professional reception services, including answering phones, managing meeting rooms, and handling client interactions
Office Management: Oversee and coordinate office management services, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of services in the Tauranga office
Health & Safety: Implement and manage Health & Safety protocols for the Tauranga office
Event Coordination: Coordinate and assist with marketing events, client functions, and staff social events
Supplier and Landlord Relations: Maintain professional relationships with key suppliers and landlords, managing office maintenance and contracts
Office Supplies and Inventory: Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring all necessary resources are available
New Staff Induction: Assist with the induction of new staff, including desk and equipment setup
General Office Duties: Handle general office tasks such as mail distribution, courier packages, and photocopying
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to staff and partners, including assisting with legal assistant tasks when required
We are interested to hear from you if you:
Have a friendly, professional demeanour
Have excellent attention to detail and are well-organised
Are experienced in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
Take pride in your work and contribution to the team
Have experience in managing staff and office operations
Have professional services experience (ideal but not essential)
