He aha te tūranga - About the role: 

We now have two opportunities within our Hawke's Bay team for non-clinical persons to volunteer as Operational Support.

This is an important ambulance support role with a primary focus to prepare Hato Hone St John vehicles for operational readiness which means you'll be an essential worker supporting our front-line emergency service.  There will also be additional duties and project work as required. 

We're looking for flexible and adaptable people with no previous experience required - training provided!

Location of Operational Support Volunteers:

• Napier Station
• Hastings Station

Please note that this role does not include responding to medical emergencies and does not have a clinical component.

Ko wai koe - About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Working knowledge of Hato Hone St John Operations preferred
• Full drivers license
• Excellent organisation, prioritisation and planning skills
• The ability to follow instructions and adjust behaviours and approaches to meet both internal and external needs.
