Job Description - Part-time Veterinarian

Are you an experienced Small Animal Vet looking for a part time opportunity? This could be the role for you!

Pet Doctors Thorndon are seeking a part time Vet to cover 1 day per week on a Wednesday plus either 1:4 or 2:4 weekends - with the opportunity for additional hours/weekends for occasional leave cover also available.

This could be a perfect opportunity for a Vet who is wanting to return to practice, drop to part-time work, or maybe pursuing another venture but would like to keep a hand in clinical work.

A bit about us

Our clinic offers a great central location (right next to the Wellington train station) and excellent work-life balance.
You would be supported on each shift by a Vet Nurse and Receptionist, the weekend vet is sole charge.
Pet Doctors Thorndon offers full medical & surgical facilities, an experienced team, radiology (including dental) and Ultrasound on-site, consultation and emergency services.
We are equipped with 3 consult rooms, dedicated radiology and surgery rooms, inhouse biochemistry, haematology and Imagyst cytology.
Our wonderful team are dedicated to quality health care and good client relationships. Our team strives to be knowledgeable, compassionate, and always focused on making sure the pet’s needs are put first.

About you: 
We are looking for a motivated, friendly BVSc or equivalent Small Animal Veterinarian who will fit right in with our wonderful team. Confident to be sole charge, and happy with routine consults & surgery.
