The opportunity
Rainbow Hub Waikato is inviting community educators and activators to join us in our partnership and collaboration in continuing our growth in how we empower Pasifika and MVPFAFF+ peoples within our Rainbow communities.
We are recruiting two Pasifika Programme Coordinators and a Pasifika Programme Facilitator. These roles will lead the expansion of our current support, along with the accessibility and visibility of Pasifika and MVPFAFF+ community members.
These roles will directly empower and uplift through development and creation of programmes and workshops, as well as strengthening existing relationships and robust mental health and wellbeing engagements that meet the needs of Pasifika youth, and build resilience, confidence, and hope.
Ko wai maatou - who are we?
We are a non-profit organisation that fosters safe and accepting communities for people of diverse gender, sex, and sexuality and their whaanau in the Waikato.
We strive to create safe spaces where all people feel safe to be themselves and explore who they are and where they are at in their journey.
We aim to connect people into a community that is rich with diversity, celebrates inclusivity, and builds authentic and healthy relationships.
We endeavour to provide support where people can thrive through strong self-identity and connect into services to empower their wellbeing.
We persevere to educate the communities around us to truly embrace all rainbow identities and demonstrate advocacy and allyship.
