About the role |Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga
Our Patient Services department is looking for a Phlebotomist for a permanent, part-time role. This role is 18 hours per fortnight. 

This position is based at our Motueka Collection Centre, an ideal candidate for this role would live within the area based on the FTE requirements.

To succeed in this role you will need:

• A positive and friendly approach to your work.


• Compassion for others, including a real desire to provide high-quality care to a wide variety of patients of all ages and circumstances.


• Excellent customer service skills including a high level of personal presentation.


• Strong attention to detail and an ability to follow processes accurately, even when under pressure.


• Respect for always ensuring patient confidentiality and in all matters.


• Diploma in Applied Science, or a Bachelor of Science would be an advantage, but not essential.


• Registration with the Medical Science Council and an Annual Practising Certificate as a Medical Laboratory Technician in Patient Services is essential.


• A clean New Zealand Driver’s Licence.


• Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
