We are seeking a Hotel Porter to provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds expectations of our guests.

This is a Part-time role based at Sudima Christchurch Airport with a guaranteed 20 hours per week and an hourly rate of $25.00 - $26.00 per hour.

Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa

• Assist with guest enquiries
• Ensure guest messages, dry cleaning are delivered in a timely manner
• Communicate with DM or FOM of any issue/s that are raised
• Assist Front Desk during busy check in and check out to ensure guests are receiving the best possible services

• Record all luggage stored in an orderly manner

• Keep the luggage store room tidy and accessible at all times

• Follow any emergency procedures from DM when an emergency arises

• Must be updated on the knowledge of all room categories and amenities

• Hotel security floor checks

• Regularly inspect the lobby and public areas to ensure that the standards of the hotel are maintained and comfortable for guests, visitors as well as employees.

• Commit to minimum of 20 hours per week
• Ability to work shifts including weekends.
• Full driver's license is essential.
• Professional personal presentation and a great work ethic.

• Ability to work well within a team and build and maintain successful working relationships.

• Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize conflicting tasks professionally.

• Strong guest service orientation.

• Demonstrates initiative and flexibility.
• Right to Work in NZ.
