Location: Dunedin


FTE: Part-time opportunities available (up to 0.8 FTE)

About the Role


The purpose of this role is to support and coordinate WellSouth Community Hub activities, with a strong focus on equity. The WellSouth Community Hub assists our communities to engage with healthcare and supports community providers, General Practice, and hospital services to achieve this. 


 


You will be experienced in provision of community support for Māori and other groups, aiding them to engage with community providers and health services.  You must be comfortable working with general practices and managing confidential patient information. You will be proactive and be solutions focused. You will be reliable and able to work independently. You will be a great team player and contribute to the life of the team as it develops.   Ideally, you will have experience working in a Manaaki or Kaiawhina role or similar within a health setting.
