Practice Manager 

Whangarei Physio and Hand Therapy aims to improve our client’s physical function, health and quality of life by providing top quality Physiotherapy, Hand Therapy and gym-based rehabilitation in Whangarei.

The role:

This is a part time position of approximately 20 hours per week. You will oversee the day to day operations of both of our clinics with the role primarily based at our Kamo Clinic. There is flexibility in the hours worked with an option to work from home for some tasks. The position is ongoing and available immediately.

The key tasks include:

• Overseeing the day to day running of Whangarei Physio and Hand Therapy to ensure our clinics are operating effectively.
• Management and support of reception and office staff and support of clinical staff.
• Oversee and provide administrative services to batch and bill ACC, send invoices, pay suppliers, and pay staff wages.

The main responsibilities of this role are:

• Support and manage administration team and staff in their day-to-day roles.
• Working with Xero, Gensolve and PayHero computer programs.
• Administrative services, overseeing accounts, having a good understanding of the running of the business.
• Oversight of the two clinic locations in making sure they are running efficiently and effectively.
• Assisting with development and implementation of new and existing Policies and Procedures.
• Marketing on social media and website.

About you:

You will be a team player and have positive attitude and good communication skills that inspire others. You will be reliable and trustworthy and have a can-do attitude and the ability to problem solve and assist others in a team environment. Sound computer skills are essential with experience in payroll or working with Xero, PayHero and Gensolve ideal.
