Da Vinci Plastic Surgery Clinic is looking for an exceptional Practice Manager to join their team. Here you will play a pivotal role in the smooth day to day running of the clinic, ensuring the well-being of their patients, administration staff and dedicated health professionals.
After 15 years, the current Practice Manager is stepping away, so these are huge shoes to fill. Reporting to the Surgeon’s (Directors), you’ll oversee and drive the administrative, financial and general day to day operations of the Practice.
This role will offer plenty of variety and scope and more importantly, you’ll be surrounded by a fabulous team of professionals.
Key responsibilities:
Oversight of daily practice operations from their modern Tauranga clinic
Scheduling of patients whilst working closely with Doctors and Nurses to do this
Overseeing the administration and nursing team including recruitment and HR related tasks
Financial responsibility through Xero – reconciliations, invoicing, AR / AP banking, credit control payroll, timesheets
Handling patient communication and queries
Health and safety – ensuring the safety of staff, patients, and visitors
Being a liaison between the practice and providers/ACC/hospital
All other general operational duties from event management (Christmas party) to staff rosters through to staff training and arranging Director meetings
This role is busy, it’s varied and it’s going to suit someone who has amazing people and administrative skills, with a high level of confidentiality and commitment. You’ll be well organised, have sound computer skills and you’ll be someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
The successful candidate will:
Have several years experience in a similar Practice Manager / Administrative operational type role
Have exceptional people skills; you’ll have a warm, caring nature and will be someone who is naturally respectful and empathic
Have a high level of integrity & confidentiality – and you’ll understand the importance of this
Be an outstanding communicator
Be technically savvy with the ability to streamline processes / improve efficiencies if required
Have financial nouse and understanding – so previous experience with Xero would be an advantage
Have flexibility to take on other tasks as and when the Clinic requires this
This role is part time, approx. 30 hours per week and there is flexibility to how this is structured; however it will be Clinic based.
