Te Hau o Te Ora Mataura is a small rural practice with 1,800 enrolled patients. The practice is supported by a highly skilled Nursing workforce, Health Improvement Practitioner, Health Coach, Health Care Assistant and a large administrative team.

The team is dedicated to addressing health equity and improving health outcomes for all patients and whānau. Ensuring the best care and support is available, your work will be rewarding!

We are seeking Practice Nurse to join our team at Te Hau o Te Ora Mataura.

This role is 0.4 FTE working Monday and Tuesday

What you will bring:

• Strong cultural confidence and competence, keeping whānau at the centre of care provided.


• An understanding of the socio-economic and cultural determinants of health.


• Be self-motivated and independent yet thrive in a collaborative environment.


• An in-depth knowledge of and passion for primary health care.


• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.


• A current APC & CPR certificate.


• Prior experience with Medtech Evolution desired but not essential.
