Production Planning Coordinator (Part-time)

Alaron Products Limited is New Zealand’s leading Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Certified manufacturer and packer of complementary medicines and natural health products. We are looking to appoint the following important part-time role into our Production Planning team:

Production Planning Coordinator

• Nelson Based
• Production Planning and Customer Support
• Part-time – Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week

We are looking for a Production Planning Coordinator to join our team to support our production planning, customer service and administration. Reporting to the Production Planning Manager, this permanent part-time position will be primarily focused on supporting the operations team in managing their production workflow to ensure schedules stay on track and customers are proactively communicated with.

To be successful in this position you will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Experience in a planning, scheduling and/or customer management type role.
• Strong and capable administration skills and experience. 
• Demonstrated skills in a range of computer-based systems including Microsoft products.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
• Efficient organisational skills, hitting deadlines, prioritising and planning workload effectively.
• Ability to perform competing tasks accurately and contribute value to a fast-paced operational environment.

The Production Planning Coordinator will be responsible for planning production schedules, checking available stock for production, report writing and data collection, verification of order details, responding to customer queries and generally supporting the operations team with a range of planning and administrative tasks.
