Job Description - Programme Support / Administrator


Te whiwhinga mahi: The opportunity 


We are seeking an experienced administrator to provide Programme Support to our Clinical Teams (comprising of dietitians, social workers, health improvement practitioners, diabetes specialists, pharmacists and nurses).


 


This is a permanent, part time role (30 hours per week) however we are flexible and happy to negotiate hours to support your work/life balance.


 


You will provide high quality support for all non-clinical aspects of our service delivery programmes and assist the clinicians as needed. Responsibilities will include:


 



  • Coordinating meetings/events/training for the team

  • Processing of patient referrals and liaising with patients to arrange appointments

  • Super user of our patient management system (Indici)

  • Liaising with external stakeholders

  • Assist in the development of specific projects to enhance models of care

  • Working with data and reporting systems to provide accurate and efficient operational support

  • Identifying innovative ways to use systems and processes that enhance how we manage and deliver care to our clients

  • Providing back-up to Office Administrator

  • Administration support (ideally between 2.30-4.30pm most days)

  • A minimum of Level 2 NCEA

  • Ideally, a background in Primary Health

  • Previous administrative experience with an eye for detail and a passion for data

  • Confident with microsoft suite, specifically excel

  • IT savvy, confident picking up new systems

  • Experience working with databases

  • A people person and thrive in a team environment

  • Proactive and take the initiative to see where you can provide support

  • Adaptable and comfortable working in an environment where the one constant is change

  • Able to multi-task and manage your own workload
