As our weekend receptionist at Summerset Waikanae, you’ll play a key role in bringing that vision to life. You’ll be the friendly face that greets residents, families, and our teams each day—someone who is positive and approachable with a can-do attitude to every interaction.
This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of the Waikanae community in a stunning work environment being part of the Village our residents call home.
Your day to day will include:
Providing outstanding front-desk service to residents, their families, visitors, and our teams
Ensuring the safety of our residents, and helping our teams and families with any incidents that may occur
Offering timely and efficient administrative and management support to both the Village and Care Centre teams
Maintaining accurate document control and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
This is a part-time weekend position working Saturday and Sunday 10am - 2pm.

About You:
You’ll be the kind of person who thrives on helping others, keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes, and communicates effortlessly with people from all walks of life. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to support a dynamic management team, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll also bring:
A strong background in customer service and administration
Ideally experience supporting a management team with day-to-day operations
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills
The ability to work independently and take initiative when needed
A calm and empathetic nature who is first to lend a hand to support our residence and teams with incidents like trips and falls, confusion or upset or just a soothing chat over a cup of tea.
