We are seeking to recruit an experienced part-time Registered Nurse to work at our Adult Residential Service in New Windsor, West Auckland. Working on park like grounds with residential clients who are on a recovery journey from addictions challenges, you will be undertaking nursing assessments, delivering medical and health interventions, and providing advice to other team members on medication and physical health issues.
Our ideal candidate will have:
At least two years post-registration nursing experience, preferably gained in an addictions and/or mental health care setting Nursing registration and a current annual practicing certificate Strong people skills and an openness to working with clients from diverse backgrounds An interest in tikanga Māori and Pacific customs and culture Ability to work autonomously within a supportive multi-disciplinary team Well-developed clinical skills in assessment, diagnostics and treatment planning Strong computer and case noting/data entry skills Strong organisational skills and reporting capabilities Knowledge and skills to promote healthy living and hygiene best practice. A full clean driver's licence In return, Odyssey can offer:
A salary between $72, and $79, per annum pro rata depending on experience A $ per annum pro rata position allowance 22 days annual leave + 5 days study leave per annum + off street parking and free meals/ fruit.
