Sales And Marketing Freelancer/Contractor - Part-Time

9Round Papanui and Kaiapoi are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Marketing Freelancer to join our team and help drive membership growth, enhance our brand presence, and increase revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketing Strategy and Planning:

o Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plan and activity to attract new members and retain existing ones.

o Collaborate on marketing campaigns across various channels including social media, email, and print.

2. Content Creation and Management:

o Produce engaging content for social media platforms, blog posts, newsletters, and promotional materials.

o Design and execute email marketing campaigns to communicate with current and potential members.

3. Social Media Management:

o Manage and grow the company’s social media presence on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

o Create and schedule posts, respond to comments, and engage with followers to build a community.

o Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach.

4. Sales Support:

o Leverage existing networks and relationships.

o Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and convert them into members.

o Follow up with prospective members via phone, email, and in-person visits.

o Assist with organizing and promoting events, such as open houses and fitness challenges, to attract new clients.

5. Analytics and Reporting:

o Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and sales initiatives.

o Use analytics tools to track customer acquisition, engagement, and retention metrics.

o Provide regular reports to management with insights and recommendations for improvement.

6. Partnerships and Community Engagement:

o Identify and establish partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and organizations to enhance brand visibility.

o Represent the gym at community events and networking opportunities to promote services.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry.

· Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Proficiency in using marketing software such as Mailchimp, Hootsuite, and Adobe Creative Suite.

· Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

· Passion for fitness and a good understanding of the gym industry.
