Sports Coordinator - Part-Time, Fixed Term To 29 September 2024 - Hiring Immediately

Reporting to the Director of Sport, the Sports Coordinator is accountable for the delivery and promotion of a quality sports programme focusing on the overall success of the Dio Sports Programme. The Sports Coordinator will be responsible for the management of allocated sports codes and will also be required to undertake sports administration for the wider sports department.

We are on the lookout for the right person for this faced-paced role. You will be expected to hit the ground running, be a self-starter, with proactive communication, able to problem solve with skills in conflict resolution, with excellent teamwork skills. We are looking for someone who fits well within our team and who loves a little bit of competition. Key attributes sought for this role include a passion for sport, a lifelong learner, someone who has initiative and considers themselves to be a doer, proven experience in leading and managing sports activities, and the ability to effectively multi-task with highly developed administrative and computing skills.  The ability to form positive working relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider school community is essential.

This is a fixed term, part time position is 20 hours per week, with a fixed term end date of 29 September 2024. Flexibility in hours is required, as the role includes some evening and weekend work. There will also be the requirement to attend local and national tournaments during term time and/or term breaks.
