Registered Nurse- Theatre

THE ROLE

An opportunity for a Registered Nurse has become available to join our Theatre team at Forté Health. 

Our theatre teams are exceptional. They are a pleasure to support and as professionals they have the knowledge and skills necessary to consistently provide an outstanding, high quality and efficient service to ensure all patients have a positive experience. 

We specialise in orthopaedic, gynaecology, ORL, urology, maxillo-facial and general elective surgical procedures. 

Theatre shifts are generally 6 hours long and are broken into Monday-Friday morning or afternoon schedules.

Morning shifts range between 7am-3:30pm

Afternoon shifts range from between 11:30am-8pm

Up to 0.8 FTE available (4 shifts per week)

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced Theatre Nurse that drives clinical excellence. You comfortably manage the varying demands within a theatre setting and you are known for your calm and steadying influence. 

You are prepared, flexible and you come to work wanting the best experience for the patients in your care.

The key attributes we are looking for is someone who works well within a team, loves to get things right, is flexible and can easily gain the confidence of the surgeons they work with.

It goes without saying that you have the current skills and experience in Theatre for our hospital. You must also be available to work both the morning and afternoon shifts.
