Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional Village Assistant to join our team at our Summerset Blenheim Village!

About the Role:

This is a fixed-term position until  12th January 2026  to assist in providing village cover, reporting directly to the Village Manager.

The Village Assistant role provides great diversity, therefore you would provide a degree of both operational and administrative cover for the Village Manager two days per week primarily being Saturday and Sunday 8am - 4.30pm  and may be requested to cover additional shifts to cover leave & sickness where required. (This may include nightshift)

This role is responsible for being the first point of contact for all Village related matters whilst on duty.

Nightshift: This is an "awake" role in which you will be sole-charge whilst on duty and be required to respond to any emergency situations which may arise. You will also carry out a range of tasks such as cleaning/ housekeeping tasks as required.

Our Village Assistant is in many ways the face of our business and as such you need to be able to relate to a wide range of people, especially the elderly and their families.
