About the role
9.00am to 12.00pm - Friday

Experience and knowledge preferred
- Demonstrated competence in a similar role
- Excellent driving record

- Compassionate and sensitive with the capability to manage varied situations.
Our ideal candidate be able to.
- Provide a bus transportation service for Facility/Village residents.
- Honest, reliable with complete integrity
- Be a good communicator, patient, and calm -someone who is genuinely interested in people and can build meaningful relationships
- Demonstrate past examples of solid initiative and calm thinking that contributes to safe driving and great customer interaction
- Must have a clean and valid Full NZ driver's license applicable for Bus Driving (P Class ) .
- Facility/Village residents are transported in a safe manner consistent within the standards of the New Zealand Road Code and according to Village timetable.
- 100% compliance with O.S. & H. requirements.
- Action is taken to maintain or repair equipment according to requirements specified in relevant equipment manuals in conjunction with the Facility Manager
- Ensure that Facility/Village relationships are harmonious by respecting rights and privacy of Village residents.
- Contribute to maintaining an environment that ensures positive and cooperative working relationships.
- Assist with ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all Facility staff, residents & visitors.
- Comply with Arvida’s sustainability framework.
