Business Development Associate

Job Description:

C.H. Robinson Worldwide is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Associate to join our team in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. As a part-time entry-level position, the Business Development Associate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new customers and the development of existing customer relationships. This role is ideal for someone with 1 year of experience who is hardworking, confident, and has excellent communication and planning skills.

Responsibilities: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation - Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention - Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth - Prepare and present sales proposals to potential customers - Track and report on sales metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement

Requirements: - 1 year of experience in business development or sales - Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers - Excellent planning and organizational abilities - Hardworking and results-driven mindset - Confident and assertive in a sales environment - Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
