Business Development Associate

Job Description:

Hormel Foods is seeking a part-time Business Development Associate to join our team in Nelson, NZ. As an Associate level position, we are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in business development or related field. The ideal candidate will be independent and resilient, with strong decision-making and innovation skills.

Responsibilities: - Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities - Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners - Create and deliver presentations to potential clients and investors - Analyze data and trends to make informed business decisions - Collaborate with internal teams to drive successful product launches - Track and report on key performance metrics to measure success - Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field - 3+ years of experience in business development or sales - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities - Proven track record of driving business growth - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team - Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
