Business Development Associate - Work from home

Job Description:

CenterPoint Energy is seeking a dedicated and resourceful Business Development Associate to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from Dunedin, Otago, NZ. As an Associate Level position, we are looking for a candidate with at least 3 years of experience in business development.

Responsibilities: - Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation techniques - Build and maintain relationships with potential clients to drive sales growth - Collaborate with the sales team to ensure client needs are effectively met - Analyze market trends and competitor activity to provide strategic insights - Develop and present proposals to potential clients - Participate in industry events and conferences to promote the company's services

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field - Proven track record in business development or sales - Strong persuasion and leadership skills - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
