Public Relations and Media DepartmentClosing: Fri 26 Apr 2024 Job Function Plan, organize and assist in managing all the activities related to the Marketing department Responsibilities Review all promotional material for the University using internal and external resources. Assist in planning and implementing an effective internal and external program designed to keep the public informed of the programs and achievements of the University. Initiate the annual marketing and promotion budget to cover all aspects of the marketing & advertising plan that year. Assist in preparing an annual marketing report to facilitate strategic decision making by management. Carry out all marketing activities as required internally and externally Assist in developing the plan for branding of ASU Supervise the marketing section team Responsible for handling the other duties and responsibilities related to the work Any other duties assigned by the line manager Supervise the promotional events such as press conferences, exhibitions, open days, press tours and visits. Assist in planning and organizing the necessities required for conducting the events and activities. Supervise all social media activities of the University Ensure that all presentations of ASU are ready for marketing, advertising and press releases. Prepare reports to management about all marketing activities Ensures that all data on ASU website are up-to date by coordinating with the concerned departments Experience Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the related field. Skills Excellent communication and computer skills. Commitment to quality and excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work under own initiative. Creativity and Presentation skills. Ability to plan and Organize events effectively Ability to prepare the presentation for the media advertisement Ability to supervise and train the subordinates. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. Possess leadership skills.
