DescriptionAbout This OpportunityAs the Strategic Marketing Manager in Oman, you have the overall responsibility to drive all the activities and manage the Strategic initiatives such as the Center of Excellence in Oman according to the Public Authority for Privatization and Partnership program (PAPP) directives. Other Strategic programs across the region can include Innovation Hubs, Events & Regional Projects that are both internal/external facing. The right candidate for the role should have excellent project management skills to own the projects during the establishment phase until it’s up and running and also to hold marketing knowledge in order to handle customer activities after the establishment phase.The programs comprise of continuity on several domains:Knowledge Transfer Programs e.g. Web/Virtual training, Public seminars/workshops, Boot Camps, Coaching & Mentoring.Innovation HubsAccount Based Marketing best practicesDigital Lab Programs for Junior academy studentsMarketing & Innovation e.g., Seminars, Oman accounts marketing activities, and planningStrategy Advisory programManagement of 5G/IoT Test Bed with its associated use cases.For the above scope, we need to have a Program Leader who can lead this forward and having an engagement with different partners such as:Operators in-country & in regionAgencies and event organizers Internal senior ManagementsGovernmental bodies such as Ministries, regulators, and othersIndustries and Verticals such as Mining, Ports, AirportsThe position reports to the Market Area Head of Marketing.You willBuild impactful customer experiences across different projectsManage the operation of the center of excellence facility & other strategic programs including budgeting and expenses, resource planning, schedule.Host & build demonstrations in centers, innovation hubs, events, and forums where applicable with customer delegations, seminars, workshops, eventsBuild positive relationships with customers and their accounts to engage early in the customer journey and build the need for the customerEngage with campaign managers and domains teams to build relevant business cases based on customer pain points pre-studies and requirementsSupporting the Head of Marketing on strategic programs that are both internal & external facingAct as a Strategic point of contact between the Marketing Unit & other functions such as Campaigns, External Communication, Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility, Operations & other.Placement, administration, control, and management of all subcontracts required to meet the requirement defined in this Project AgreementProviding quarterly project progress report to cover overall project schedule and deliverables, resources, cost, performance, project risks, and mitigation, the status of old and new issues, and quality.Providing any information as and when requested by Strategic Program committees.Manage quality, health, safety and environment and training, and all vital supporting resources to ensure successful management and delivery of the Project.Continue to maintain & govern a coordinated Master Schedule. This will include specific achievements for the development and sustainment of outputs. The Master Schedule will be supervised and controlled by an Operations Project Management Team (OPMT); major deviations will be identified and reported to the Executive Board (XB) on which PAPP is represented.Execute presentations and other types of relevant customer engagementsAlign and collaborate with other global hubsMeasure activation success and analyze needed changesTo be successful in the role you must have.University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent experienceMinimum 6 to 10 years of experience as an marketing, business development and leading strategic programsStrong leadership skills/people management skillsExperience working in a distributed team.Strong focus on execution and measurable resultsDemonstrated ability from business, marketing and/or sales or equivalent experience resource management (including budget management)Experience from working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.Project Management, Marketing knowledge & skills.
