As Coffee Shop Manager at Meetup, you will be responsible for managing the full coffee shop operation, ensuring excellent customer service, strong product quality, smooth daily operations, and professional supervision of the barista team. You will take ownership of the coffee shop project, including service standards, staff performance, stock control, supplier coordination, purchases, hygiene, equipment readiness, and daily revenue follow-up.
Reporting directly to the Meetup Manager, your main responsibility is to operate the coffee shop as a reliable, welcoming, and commercially successful part of the Meetup space. You will ensure that the coffee shop supports the overall customer experience for students, visitors, classroom users, pod users, corporate clients, and walk-in customers.
Minimum Requirements
· Filipino nationality is required for this role.
· Previous experience as a Coffee Shop Manager, Cafe Manager, Head Barista, Senior Barista, or similar role in a coffee shop, cafe, hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
· Strong experience managing baristas, daily coffee shop operations, customer service, stock control, purchases, suppliers, and basic reporting.
· Practical knowledge of coffee preparation standards, drink consistency, hygiene, food safety, product storage, and customer service expectations.
· Ability to manage purchasing requirements, follow up with suppliers, control stock levels, and coordinate all items related to coffee shop operations.
· Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
· Professional appearance, positive attitude, hands-on work style, and ability to lead by example during busy service periods.
Nice to Have
· Experience opening or improving a new coffee shop, kiosk, cafe counter, or hospitality project.
· Basic knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, sales tracking, inventory sheets, and supplier ordering processes.
· Barista training, food safety training, or hospitality-related certification.
· Experience creating simple promotions, improving product display, and supporting customer retention or repeat sales.
· Familiarity with the Oman market, local suppliers, and coffee shop operating standards.
· Monthly salary of OMR 600, all inclusive.
· Company-sponsored employment visa in Oman.
· Medical insurance coverage as per company policy.
· Annual flight allowance or ticket as per company policy.
