Consultant Geriatric Medicine

We staffed is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Consultant in Geriatric Medicine to join specialized team focused on the health and well-being of older adults. In this important role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to elderly patients, addressing their unique healthcare needs and managing complex medical conditions associated with aging. Your expertise will be critical in developing individualized treatment plans that encompass medical, psychological, and social aspects of geriatric care. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of geriatric patients, considering medical history and current health status.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to address medical, functional, and psychosocial needs.
• Manage chronic conditions and provide preventive care tailored to older adults.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and community resources to support patient needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about managing health conditions and promoting wellness.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to geriatric training programs.
• Stay updated on best practices, guidelines, and advancements in geriatric medicine.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completed fellowship in Geriatric Medicine.
• Valid medical license to practice in the state.
• Board certification in Geriatric Medicine is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in geriatric medicine or related field.
• Strong clinical skills in managing the complexities of elderly care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with older patients and their families.
