Panel Beater

This position is based in Ireland.

In this role, you will work in a well-equipped workshop using a variety of modern tools, including metalworking tools, welding equipment, and finishing stations. You will be responsible for assessing and estimating vehicle damage, repairing and realigning chassis and body frames, and preparing surfaces for painting. You'll work closely with other team members to meet deadlines and ensure all repairs comply with strict safety and quality standards. You may also need to travel occasionally for parts or client meetings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Accurately assess and estimate vehicle damage.
• Repair or replace damaged panels and chassis.
• Weld, grind, sand, and prepare surfaces for refinishing.
• Realign chassis and body structures to factory standards.
• Keep detailed records of all repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop and properly dispose of waste.
• Communicate with clients about repair work.

• Demonstrated experience in vehicle body repairs.
• Proficiency in using welding equipment and metalworking tools.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Adequate physical fitness for manual handling.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
• A valid international work permit is accepted.

Preferred, but Not Required:

• Safe Pass Certification.
• Manual Handling Training is not required for this specific role.

• Salary: The starting salary is €34,000 per year, or €16.77 per hour, based on a 39-hour work week. The salary may be higher depending on your experience and will increase proportionately for any additional hours worked. Overtime rates are included.
• Work Schedule: The standard schedule is during normal working hours, but flexibility for occasional overtime or weekend work is preferred. No specific shift patterns are required.
