JOB CONTENT

To lead and manage
all aspects of the procurement process, from identifying and sourcing
suppliers to negotiating contracts and managing relationships; develop and
implement strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement of
goods and services, while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance
with regulations.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic:

  1. Develop and
    implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

  2. Identify and
    analyze market trends and emerging technologies to optimize sourcing
    strategies.

  3. Diversify the
    supplier base through efficient supplier registration and maintenance.

  4. Negotiate
    favorable contracts with suppliers while fostering strong
    buyer-distributor relationships.

  5. Implement
    cost-saving initiatives and leverage data to track and report on
    procurement metrics.

Operational:

  1. Manage the entire
    procurement process, including requisitioning, purchasing, receiving,
    inventory management, and payment.

  2. Oversee the
    storekeeper and ensure daily cleaning and proper maintenance of stored
    materials.

  3. Develop and manage
    an effective inventory system to optimize stock levels and minimize
    waste.

  4. Extract authorized
    heads for consumable equipment and raw materials, ensuring efficient
    usage.

  5. Manage and settle
    custody with financial management for transparency and accountability.

  6. Source and
    negotiate offers and contracts with suppliers, securing the best value
    for the company.

  7. Monitor supplier
    performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and
    quality standards.

  8. Build strong
    relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and open
    communication.

  9. Implement and
    maintain effective controls and procedures for inventory management.

  10. Publish and
    implement rules for health and safety of food at all stages of work,
    ensuring compliance and employee safety.

  11. Follow-up on the
    manufacturing and supply of factory supplies, guaranteeing timely
    deliveries and proper stock levels.

  12. Maintain accurate
    records and ensure adherence to relevant procurement laws and
    regulations.

  1. Provide leadership
    and direction to the procurement team, motivating and developing team
    members to achieve their full potential.

  2. Foster a collaborative
    and results-oriented work environment, encouraging open communication
    and teamwork.

Requirements

MINIMUM
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Education:

         Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

Experience:

         7 years of relevant experience

Special Skills & Knowledge:

         Strong
negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

         Excellent
analytical and problem-solving skills

         Strong
leadership and team management skills

         Proficiency
in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software

         Knowledge of
relevant procurement laws and regulations

Business Understanding:

         This position requires high level of business
understanding
