Job Description - Spa Receptionist

Scope of Work

: As Spa Receptionist, I fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them, plus our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun, quirky, and pioneering wellness. My duties include but is not limited to:
•Check and assist with the setup of daily operations of the spa reception according to Six Senses Spa standards.
•Make, reconfirm and verify guest bookings and manage appointment cards or appointment schedules for the following day.
•Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the reception area and spa concentrating on front of house areas.
•Remove and replace towels and amenities in the spa common areas (included wet areas) as needed.
•Ensure retail is offered appropriately to the guests and retail area is set up as per standards.
•Handle guest complaints and record all guest comments accordingly.
•Prepare guest bills.
•Answer the telephone and email communications.
•Escort guests to different areas and explain the Guest Journey.
•Create and update guest profiles ensuring they are not duplicated.
•Report lost and found items and submit guest incident reports to their manager.
•Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to guests at all times.
•Serve the welcome drink or other menu offerings to the guests when required.
•Maintain the equipment I use in safe conditions.
•Log all product recommendations to guests.
•Fill in documents / controls / reports for duty
•Carry out when required stock count, both retail and professional stock.
•Upsell all fitness, spa and wellness activities.
•Attend meetings and training as required by supervisors.
•Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
•Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
•Perform any additional tasks given to me by supervisor/management. Qualification : To execute the position of Spa Receptionist, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

Hospitality diploma/degree or equivalent and at least 1 year experience in the same/ similar role. 

I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of all spa reception tasks to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.

Technical skills include proficiency in Microsoft Windows package– Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms. I have knowledge of spa practices regarding reservations, discounts and detailed procedures.

I possess exceptional interpersonal skills and thrive in a multi-cultural team.

I have full knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the Spa and Fitness area including all treatments, classes, promotions, wellness activities and Visiting Practitioners calendar as well as their location and layout.

I have an excellent command of written and spoken English, and I am able to live in a remote location for extended periods of time and travel on single status.
