As the Department Head- Sales Operation & Information you will be responsible of ensuring the fulfillment of commercial department needs & requirements through managing & controlling the support team, & maintaining the availability of needed tools in terms of logistic, information & development.
Core Responsibilities
You will be responsible of the following:
Develops the overall strategy for the Operations Department in line with the overall Ooredoo Oman and Group business strategy. Develops the AOP and associated KPI’s for the Department and drives their delivery. Set objectives and goals across the unit and ensures they are accurately distributed. Provide CCO with statistical studies related to market stock & numbers status on regular basis. Monitor numbers & Ooredoo products availability, by checking strategic stock on regular basis. Coordinate with marketing & procurement regarding SIMs & vouchers orders based on a yearly forecast to avoid shortage in the market. Monitor the distribution of materials & branding in an effective manner. Follow up on sales systems. Decide on developing a new project to meet commercial dept need. Provide Solutions on Commercial systems to ensure smooth operations. Lead the development of new system enhancements to ensure business continuity. Prepare commercial department report provide recommendations & submit to Director on monthly basis. Coordinate with Sales Team in order to enhance reports. Manage, motivate and develop the Team to ensure sales target achievement and channel profitability. Set timely KPIs for the team and monitor their achievement periodically. Conduct periodical ie: monthly & quarterly business reviews with the team and agree on action plans. Complete accurate, objective and fact-based performance appraisals for all direct reports on time and ensure all have development plans in place. which are executed to drive the highest level of performance across the team. Conduct classroom training & coaching to the Dealer Support Team in order to further develop their skills. Conduct market visits with the staff with the objective of identifying the development opportunities.

The Person
You should a minmum of 10+ years of operational experience in the Telecom industry of which 4 were spent in leading the operational team
Extensive knowledge in project management Extensive knowledge in operational Management Extensive knowledge in Operation systems and stock management With a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Process Management, Business Management or any related field
