What you will be doing

• AR & AP with all connected reconciliations

• Monthly, quarterly, yearly internal, and statutory reporting US GAAP and local GAAP

• Manual journal entries (accrual, payroll etc.)

• Fixed Assets accounting

• Tax declarations

• Balance Sheet reconciliations

• Follow relevant policies and procedures, lead Finance process improvements and best practice implementation

• Support annual budgeting process and regular forecasting

• Main contact and relevant support for internal / external Audits

• Close cooperation with Country Manager and Sub-Regional Finance Manager on all Finance and Accounting activities, projects and ad hoc assignments.

What your background should look like 

• Certificate level qualification in accounting

• 4-5 years experience as independent accountant, with relevant accounting and financial management (e.g. reporting, analyzing variances of actuals vs plan) experience.

• Good communication skills and fluency in English and Romanian

• Strong accuracy and attention to detail

• Solid time management and organizational skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Ability to develop and optimize working processes

• Open and self-evident interaction with head of other departments

• Advanced user of MS Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience in a multinational company a strong advantage.

• Experience with ERP systems, SAP a strong advantage
