Backend Developer (.NET)

.NET Developer

Pointwest is looking for a .NET Developer to join our Healthcare Business Unit. The role focuses on backend development — designing, building, and maintaining APIs that support healthcare web applications. You’ll work closely with front-end developers, project managers, and international clients, contributing to the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop web-based applications and RESTful APIs using .NET Framework and Entity Framework 6

• Analyze business requirements and propose backend solutions

• Collaborate with frontend developers and clients for system integration

• Perform unit testing, defect analysis, and technical troubleshooting

• Provide accurate effort estimates and technical recommendations

• Join client meetings, scrum sessions, and project reviews

• Follow coding standards and contribute to process improvements

• Engage in learning and development activities; mentor junior team members

Performance Indicators

• API reliability, uptime, and code quality

• Timely delivery of tasks and project milestones

• Client satisfaction and feedback scores

• Contribution to knowledge sharing and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of application development experience

• 6 to 12 months of hands-on experience with .NET Framework, Entity Framework 6, and relational or No-SQL databases

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or relevant fields

• Strong English communication skills

• Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks

• Available to work mid-shift and flexible night shifts

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AWS or Azure

• Exposure to Angular, Node.js, Java, or related technologies

• Team Lead experience
