Events Manager

We are looking for a passionate Events professional who will be responsible in assisting Event Managers in the execution of events. Assist in the efficient execution of banquet functions in coordination with F&B, Rooms, and other concerned departments. Attends and actively participates in the weekly Events meeting. Participates in the morning event sales briefing daily.

Key Accountabilities

• Consolidates and submits the Daily Summary Forecast Reports/ Business Blocks Report to the Department head to understand booking pace and conversion of what is currently on the books (definite, tentative and prospect).


• Ensures that Guest Profile on all accounts arc updated and managed in the Opera system.


• Assist the events team in the timely implementation of all action plans as set in the business plan.


• Assist in the review and control group room block inventory.


• Assist monitoring all aspect of pre-event planning and post conference meetings to ensure feedback to the Sales Department for follow-up for future business.


• Conducts daily administrative task to ensue efficient oversight of the Events Office of it basic needs including HR related tasks.

General Requirements

• Degree in hospitality management or related field of expertise,


• At least 1 years experience in Event or Banquet sales and services in administrative capacity.


• Demonstrate technical know-how in managing and executing events. Knowledge Opera Sales and Events.


• Analytical acumen to be able to forecast event business.


• Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Events Management.
