You'll work directly with senior leadership, engage with our tax and compliance advisors in Australia and Singapore, and build the financial reporting infrastructure that will underpin Groworx's next phase of growth. About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Lead (Financial Controller) is a critical hire that will own the end-to-end financial operations, compliance, and reporting functions for Groworx. This role is designed for a commercially sharp, detail-oriented finance professional who can operate independently, take ownership, and drive continuous improvement across all financial processes.

As our compliance and reporting foundation, you will ensure Groworx meets its regulatory obligations across multiple jurisdictions, produces timely and accurate financial reporting, and maintains the financial controls necessary to support confident decision-making by leadership.

This role is the cornerstone of our finance function — and the right person will grow with the business.

Key Deliverables

Financial Reporting & Period End You will own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process end-to-end. This means producing accurate P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements on a consistent schedule, maintaining a structured and repeatable close calendar, and ensuring leadership always has clean, current financials to make decisions from. Variance analysis and management commentary will be expected alongside the numbers, not as an afterthought.

Compliance & Regulatory Management You will be responsible for ensuring Groworx meets its compliance obligations across relevant jurisdictions. This includes coordinating with our external advisors in Australia and Singapore on tax filings, regulatory submissions, and cross-border compliance matters. You will maintain a compliance calendar, flag risks proactively, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks as the business expands.

Tax Coordination Acting as the primary point of contact between Groworx and our Australian and Singaporean tax advisors, you will manage the flow of information, ensure timely lodgement of returns, and maintain organised records to support all tax-related activities. You will also stay across local Philippine tax obligations and liaise with local advisors as required.

Financial Controls & Process Improvement You will assess, document, and strengthen the internal controls and finance processes that underpin the business. As we scale, having robust, well-documented procedures is non-negotiable. You will identify gaps, recommend improvements, and implement changes that bring greater accuracy, efficiency, and auditability to our financial operations.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management You will maintain visibility over the company's cash position, support cash flow forecasting, and flag risks or opportunities to leadership on a regular basis. Ensuring the business has the liquidity it needs to operate and grow is a core part of this role.

Accounts Management Overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions, you will ensure timely invoicing, payment runs, and reconciliations. You will maintain clean books and be the person who ensures our financial records are always audit-ready.

Stakeholder Engagement You will work closely with the CEO and broader leadership team to provide financial insight that supports strategic decisions. You will also manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies with professionalism and responsiveness.

What You Bring

You are a qualified finance professional with a minimum of five to eight years of experience in accounting, financial control, or finance management roles. You have experience managing month-end close processes, working with multi-entity or multi-jurisdiction structures, and coordinating with external tax advisors. A CPA qualification is strongly preferred. Exposure to Australian or Singaporean financial and tax environments is a significant advantage.

Beyond the technical skills, you are highly organised, self-directed, and comfortable operating in an environment where you are building the plane while flying it. You take ownership, communicate proactively, and hold yourself to a high standard without needing to be asked.

Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms such as Xero or similar is expected. Strong Excel skills and the ability to produce clean, presentation-ready financial reports are essential.
