Provisioning Specialist Tier 2

Summary:

We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Provisioning Tier 2 Support Specialists to support and troubleshoot advanced telecommunications provisioning systems and equipment. This role requires experience with DSLAMs, digital cross-connects, and operational support systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with field technicians and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provisioning and troubleshooting various network equipment such as:

• Alcatel / Nokia equipment

• Pair Gains / DSLAMs
• Adtran TA 3000/5000
• Calix systems
• SLC-5 / SLC-96
• Litespan
• Digital Cross-Connects (e.g., Titan 5500/6500, iMTN, DACS III/IV)

• Working with field technicians that utilize complex testing devices such as protocol analyzers, transmission measuring sets, etc., while trouble shooting and installing services. 
• Maintaining accurate and complete records. Preparing and updating logs, records and files regularly. 
• Analyzing and verifying switching or operational support systems software including translations. 
• Accessing and operating of operational support system software and hardware including systems used for specific customer contracts.
• May be required to perform LAN/WAN administration.
• May be required to perform additional duties and tasks as required by the Company.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Reliable internet connection and remote work setup.
• Availability to work non-standard hours as needed by the business.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Digital fundamentals and electricity theory, equivalent trade experience or certificate (A+, Networking +, or CCNA) from an accredited outside agency.
