Job Description

Your Team

Group Accounting is responsible for keeping accurate accounting records for the legal entities of the Avaloq Group, invoice our clients and pay our suppliers in a timely manner.Our employees are spread across the globe and work in the following offices: Zurich, Bioggio, Berlin, Singapore and Manila.

Your Mission

• Monthly preparation of financial statements for management reporting purposes
• Yearly preparation of the statutory financial statements of the Avaloq Group of companies
• Support the business in invoicing our clients on a timely manner
• Payment of supplier invoices
• Tax compliance and reporting
• Ensure integrity of data and conformance to the Group’s policies and external regulations

Qualifications

What you Need

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/ Finance/ Business or related field. 
• CPA or other certification is desirable
• Solid work experience in General Accounting
• Appreciation of IFRS and regulatory requirements
• Strong familiarity with month-end reporting processes, standards and best practices 
• Proficiency in corporate tax and BIR regulations
• Experience working in an international organization
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and establish rapport across the Group
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated with high levels of energy and drive
• Proficiency in SAP ERP and MS Office
• Must be willing to work in Makati
