Accountant - Remote Work

Job Description:

MetroMart is looking for a reliable and energetic Accountant to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in accounting and possess strong critical thinking and adaptability skills.

Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets - Manage accounts payable and receivable - Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies - Assist with internal and external audits - Provide financial analysis and support to management - Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and procedures

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - 4+ years of experience in accounting - CPA certification preferred - Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
