Job Description
We are looking for full-time Accountant for our international client, who will be a key role in the organization reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.
Duties and responsibilities:
Management Reporting
- Prepares monthly management reporting.
- Preparation of revenue and expense variance reporting.
- All balance sheet reconciliations are completed monthly. Variances are investigated and resolved.
- Assists in the preparation of business forecasts and budgets.
- Assists with cash flow forecasts information.
- Maintains the Company Dashboard Reporting.
- Financial reporting complies with the financial reporting standards, in preparation for the year-end audit. There is ongoing compliance.
- Process all GST, FBT, tax payments and information as required.
- Identifies systems improvements.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
Financial Reporting
- Complete annual statutory financial statements in an accurate and timely manner, which comply with relevant reporting standard.
IRD Returns
- Liaise with external service providers for completion of annual tax returns.
Systems/Fixed Assets
- Provides input to ensure systems are producing information which is timely and has integrity.
Accounts Payable
- Supervise the Accounts Payable Clerk, to ensure all suppliers’ accounts are reconciled and accurate.
- Communicate with suppliers and arrange payment terms of payment plans where required.
- Ensure all company payments meet required terms and where necessary communicate payment arrangements.
- Cashflow updated daily against bank statements.
- Monitor overseas payments.
- Ensure changes to payments are requested and entered as directed.
Payroll
- Supervise the weekly and fortnightly payrolls.
- Ensure the correct remuneration rates are applied.
- Ensure all regulations and legislation is complied with.
- Backup for payroll
Corporate Contribution
- Attend meetings, as required.
- ·Promotes a positive image to all internal and external suppliers and customers at all times.
- Comply with all policies and any amendments.
- Assist with management to meet with external representatives as required
Skills:
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience
- MYOB or SAGE experience is preferable
Qualifications:
- At least 5 (five) years of experience in Accounting
Work set-up:
- HYBRID set up (office is located in Makati)
- Working hours: 5AM-2PM
