The ideal candidate for this role is highly organized, has the ability to multitask, maintain a high level of accuracy, and attention to detail. We're looking for someone who can work well both independently and within a team. Reporting directly to the Controller, you would be responsible for performing the day-to-day accounting functions in a modern, dynamic and paperless cloud-based environment. Responsibilities and Skills
. Process and review trip information from client from a financial perspective
. Ensure timely invoicing
. Processing incoming wire, cheque and credit card payments. Entering payments and credits into our accounting system
. Process and enter data provided by our payment processor
. Monitoring client accounts for non-payments and coordinating collection of client accounts
. Interacting with management, customers and vendors
. Bank reconciliations
. Proceed to any ad hoc requests from manager
. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
. Team player and great communication skills Requirements
. DEP or DEC in Accounting or any equivalent experience
. 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
. Excellent analytical and financial skills
. Advanced working level of Microsoft Office Suite products and Google Suite
. General IT proficiency - able to navigate in a cloud-based environment
. Experience with Netsuite an asset
. Previous experience in a startup would be an asset Compensation:
