The CPA Accountant will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial activities of the company. He/She will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company’s growth and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial activities of the company. In this role the candidate will:

• Prepare and review financial documents, reports, and statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance, including preparation of tax returns and ensuring timely payments.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure financial and operational controls are in place and effective.
• Manage and monitor the company’s financial accounting systems and procedures, recommending improvements where necessary.
• Provide financial analysis for investment activities, acquisitions, and project proposals.
• Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions as required.
• Support the management team with strategic financial planning and decision-making.
• Ensure the company’s financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation in the Philippines.

Requirements

Must-have Skills / Qualification:

• A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the Philippines is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), tax regulations, and other compliance requirements in the finance sector.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
